Hello and welcome to Digital Dungeoneering! It may not look like much now, but I assure you, this website is fully armed and operational!
My name is Tycho LeGrue. I started this website in May 2020 as a way to offer my services as a Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Master online during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to provide online group social entertainment during a time where social connection is/was restricted. At time of posting, I have nearly six years of experience playing and leading games of Fifth Edition Dungeons & Dragons.
I've also been working with teens and young adults for several years, both as a leader and as a trainer. In my experience, role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons offer players opportunities to learn and develop critical leadership traits and skills in an environment that rewards cooperation, experimentation, and creative thinking. I'll probably talk about that more later on, but I love being able to offer such a compelling opportunity to my players as a Dungeon Master.
I plan to hold a blog and create videos semi-regularly to share advice and support for players and Dungeon Masters of all levels of experience with Dungeons & Dragons. Many people want to learn how to play D&D, how to enhance their playing ability, or how to teach the game to others, and I'm happy to provide support through explanation and comparison of techniques. As well as offering my services as a Dungeon Master for hire, I also plan to operate a small marketplace with resources I create like maps, tools, and art for other Dungeon Masters and players. These resources have been helpful to me, and I want to make them available to others.
